TERMS & CONDITIONS

By booking everyone who attends Woodcote Kids Kitchen agrees that:

  1. Payments are to be made in full, online, when booking classes, by debit or credit card or through paypal.
  2. Refunds of 100% can only be issued if a cancellation is made 14 days prior to the class date. Unfortunately no refunds will be given after this time as the class numbers are restricted and we will not be able to offer the place back out to another child. Cancellations must be done in writing via email to  frugalcakey@outlook.com – we will then respond accordingly with regards to the above cancellation terms. Any other forms of cancellation will not be accepted.
  3. Another child aged 6-11 may attend in your child’s place, however we will need written confirmation of this a minimum of 24 hours before a session, they will be subject to the same terms and conditions are the original attendee.
  4. If booking a block of sessions once the sessions have commenced a refund will not be possible as the space will not be able to be filled by another child.
  5. We recommend your child attends a trial session prior to committing to a block booking of sessions. A discount code will be issued if you wish to book a block of sessions after a trial which will give users a £10 discount on a block of 4 sessions.  The code is only to be used in booking sessions for the child who attend the trial session, unless otherwise agreed with Frugal Cakey and is not transferable to another party.
  6. Children will not be permitted to enter a cooking session late, this is to prevent disruption to the classes.  Please be advised to be at the Pavillion 5 mins prior to the start of the session so your child can go to the toilet, wash their hands and put on their apron, for a prompt start to the lesson.
  7. Late collection will be charged at £10 per 10 min increments, due to disruption this may cause to later classes.
  8. If your child has had a vomiting and/or diarrhoea bug within 48hrs of the class date, you will not be able to attend, this is to protect all of our customers as these illnesses can be spread through food.
  9. Your child may be refused admission if we suspect that you are unwell with a communicable disease.
  10. Without exception, you will indemnify and hold us and our employees harmless from all responsibility for any loss of personal property whilst at Woodcote Kids Kitchen, or for any injuries or damages your child sustains or that anyone affiliated with or connected with you in any way may sustain, in connection with or resulting directly or indirectly from your child’s preparation of the food, save where such injuries or damages arise as a result of our negligence. Woodcote Kids kitchen has Liability insurance.
  11. Our liability to you shall not exceed the total price charges for any sessions/classes booked. Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes our liability to you for personal injury or death caused by our negligence.
  12. We reserve the right to cancel courses/classes or change dates where necessary (if, for example, the minimum number of bookings has not been reached).
  13. In the unlikely event of a cancellation of a course we aim to provide a suitable transfer to an alternative date or course at no extra cost, or we will issue 100% refund. We will not be liable for any third party costs, such as travel arrangements.
  14. We reserve the right to change cookery lessons, content and recipes without notice on account of seasonality or difficulties obtaining fresh products.
  15. By agreeing to these terms you consent to your child being photographed and filmed during the class. These images are therefore owned by Woodcote Kids Kitchen / Frugal Cakey to be used for marketing purposes.
  16. By agreeing to these terms you consent to be contacted by  Woodcote Kids Kitchen / Frugal Cakey via email for marketing purposes.
